Safe Storage and Pneumatic Conveying of Dried Sewage Sludge
In wastewater treatment plants, our sewage water undergoes several treatment stages to be cleaned of dirt and nutrients; the end product of these processes is the so-called sewage sludge. This sludge contains all the "waste" generated during wastewater treatment, including heavy metals, organic pollutants such as pharmaceutical residues, pathogens, nanomaterials, and plastic fragments. For fully dried sewage sludge, pneumatic conveying is a cost-effective and reliable conveying system for incineration plants.
